Intentional Acts

52E60D6B-4F88-46E8-9DAB-C6CC751641CAI love the way
November leaves
stain the sidewalks.
As if
to declare:
”Don’t forget I was here.”
As if
to proclaim:
”All things are temporary.”
As if
to announce:
”Even one small leaf can make
an imprint.”
As if, it’s an intentional act
of tree graffiti –
meant to startle us
into paying attention.
Now.

About Martha Phelps Studio ~ creative on purpose

...a meandering journal of a changing life and the unexpected graces it brings. Earlier posts may provide some history, but this series of writings aren't likely to follow a straight line as I explore topics such as raising kids, making choices, self discovery, the impact of change on a family and how to (hopefully) live with balance and purpose. www.marthaphelps.com
